Happy Frog Translations is a French freelance translator (of 12 years of experience) based in Madrid. I cover translation from English and Spanish into French (my mother tongue) and I provide the following linguistic services:
- Translation of general, technical, IT, multimedia, audiovisual, car industry, agriculture, marketing, and Web sites

Through my experience as a proofreader, I realized that the translation of complex documents is often too close to the original and that basic grammatical concepts are frequently mistranslated, which is the result of a limited understanding of the source text. This is why I decided to build up a technical background by attending classes of biology and medical terminology and more recently DJ classes where I learned to use and set up the basic professional equipment, and a training in an IT shop.
I have skills in the following computer-aided translation software:
- SDL Trados 2007 Freelance, SDL Trados Studio 2009, SDL MultiTerm 2009, Transit Satellite.
